On April 25, 2020, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, the Environmental Concerns Coalition and community partners invite you to join us in commemorating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, celebrating the natural heritage of Milford, Connecticut, and fighting for a sustainable future.
Environment-focused exhibits, performances, and activities will take place from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, at the Milford Green, the Fowler Pavilion, and other locations around the City.
Businesses, clubs, nonprofit organizations, artists, naturalists, and other groups and individuals are invited to apply by March 1, 2020, to reserve a space for their family-friendly exhibit or performance. Visit our exhibitor page for more information and a copy of the application form.
Local and national actions following the first Earth Day, 50 years ago, protected generations of Americans from deadly pollution; environmental conditions today present new challenges and opportunities for acting as a community. Earth Day 2020 is a happy occasion that can also start new conversations and actions for ensuring a healthy, prosperous, future for Milford.
We can’t wait to see you on April 25!
